Macromolecular Chemistry and Nanoscience research group

The research group of Macromolecular Chemistry and Nanoscience at the Eindhoven University of Technology is offering an immediate opening for a PhD position  in the field of

SPM based Nanolithography and Nanochemistry.

Main research interests the group headed by Prof. U.S. Schubert focus on the synthesis of supramolecular/macromolecular systems , combinatorial material science and structuring techniques such as ink-jet printing and probe based nanolithography.

We invite the application of candidates with a strong physical/chemical background and experience in self-assembly preparation, surface characterization and/or scanning probe microscopy techniques. Successful applicants should be able to integrate into a creative and interdisciplinary working environment and perform independent research in the topic of scanning probe lithography or force spectroscopy and nanomanipulations using supramolecular systems.
