Victor Bykov is new President of Russian Society of Nanotechnology
Director General of NT-MDT Co. Victor Bykov has been elected the 3^rd president of Russian Society of Nanotechnology.

Russian Society of Nanotechnology held the 2^nd annual Conference. The theme of the Conference was «Prospects for the development of nano-, bio-, information and cognitive technologies as a major scientific breakthrough in the sixth tenor of technology in Russia».

Conference took place in Russian scientific center Kurchatov Institute in Moscow on the 14-15^th of October. The main purpose of the Conference was the convocation of the members of Russian Society of Nanotechnology to resume the annual activities of the Society, to discuss the results and prospects for further development.

Welcoming words from delegates of Russian Government, RUSNANO, Nuclear Society, Russian Academy of Science and Kurchatov Institute opened the Conference.

Representatives of Russian Society of Nanotechnology made their reports. After that there was the round table discussion "Nanobiosafety", youth branch session and poster session. Kurchatov Institute organized visits to its research center and to Kurchatov Institute Museum.

The most important point of the Conference became Organizational session of Russian Society of Nanotechnology. A lot of regulation questions were solved. During the Organizational session Director General of NT-MDT Co. Victor Bykov was elected President of the Russian Society of Nanotechnology for 2010-2011.
