Nanoeducation and E-learning: today and tomorrow

On November 16, an international seminar on ‘Electronic Learning (E-learning) in the high tech sphere’ was held in Moscow. The seminar was organized by the Moscow State University of Economics, Statistics and Informatics (MESI). Among participants there were Prof. Vladimir P. Tikhomirov, DPhil, President of International consortium ‘Electronic university’ (MESI), Elena V. Tikhomirova, Director of Knowledge management institute (MESI), Anatoli A. Korkin, an Associate Research Professor at Arizona State University and President of Nano & Giga Solutions, who created with NT-MDT an educational web portal www.asdn.net for atomic structure and fundamentals of nanotechnology, and many others.

During the seminar the participants were discussing such gut issue as nanoeducation and innovation approaches to learning. NT-MDT Co representatives addressed two presentations to the audience: Elements of remote leaning in the field of nanotechnology and Educational processes on the basis of classes NANOEDUCATOR.
