New electrochemical cell is designed for carrying out electrochemical investigations and in combination with various measuring heads allows carrying out EC measurement by 3- or 4-electrode scheme. The construction of the cell allows using electrodes of unrestricted form, adapting them for the research tasks.

3-electrode scheme
3-electrode scheme is equipped with scanning liquid head. In this case the potential of the probe is not controlled. Exchangeable probe holders allow carrying out EC, AFM and STM investigations of the surface with nanometer resolution; deposition and resolution of substances on the sample’s surface with purity control of the probe- electrolyte system.
 
4-electrode scheme
4-electrode scheme uses the cell in combination with scanning EC STM head. Depending on the task one can carry out measuring on the large field (100x100 mm) or on the small field (3x3mm) with high resolution. EC STM can obtain STM image of the surface with atomic resolution; deposition and resolution of substances on the sample’s surface with purity control of the probe- electrolyte system.
 
Software
Software provides the user with the handy interface for carrying out EC experiments, express-analysis and processing of the obtained data. Original universal programmer eliminates all the limits for carrying out automatized EC experiments. Electrode polarization program can consist of 10 stages, each of that carries out the needed number of one or another EC operation undependably for the given current range and measuring frequency.
