Name: Polydiethylsiloxane
Polydiethylsiloxane (PDES) deposited on silicon substrate by rubbing. Left - topography image; right - amplitude*sin(phase) image. The direction of rubbing is from left lower corner to right upper corner. Dark background on right image is the amorphous polymer. The lamellae are mesomorphic state of PDES.
